MERC - More Team Building

The photo below doesn't seem like it would do the place justice. I want to encourage you to visit the website of MERC. (Thank you Kathy.)

My personal opinion is this extended stay in New Zealand is very good for my son. The Kiwis are known for their environmental concerns and connectedness to their surrounding environment. Something we Kansans are not necessarily known for.

And of course, with all the team building going on they better be able to beat the San Antonio Spurs by the time they get back. After 19 days together they'll either be tight for a long time to come or won't be able to stand one another.

The kids have really enjoyed NZ. Nothing but great things to say. Not sure about your last comment, however.

Thanks for the comment.

It is pretty cool to see the P2P kids in their pictures. someplace I saw that they have 3000 P2P kids come through each winter. Wow!

Chris - I've seen a couple of comments that indicate that non-parents have been on this blog - see the 6/18 8:24 comment... I'm VERY happy that we're doing what we can to not indicate who our kids are and where they are from. I also think its VERY smart to not be giving information as to what they are doing or going to do or where they go next. As that last commend indicates, it looks like some of the people looking at this blog are geographically pretty close to our kids "our country", "gonna get cold over here", "trip over here"...

I absolutely agree with Janis! I am so very glad that we're looking into the activities, talking about them "after" the fact. Makes you feel a bit uneasy!

Thanks Chris for keeping this up and running!

Thanks for the intel.

Funny how words have different meanings even though we all speak "English."
