Hi, we heard from Sarah last night. She said her home stay family was very nice and that she was having a good time. The host family daughter, Holly, is 14. She did not mention that she was with 2 other P2P girls. She said she really liked the New Zealand school and thought it was neat that they went outside to change classes. She also mentioned the mine and thought it was really interesting. She said they also went on a nature walk yesterday.
Mark and I are big gardeners and she said the host family has a very nice garden but not a lot in bloom right now. I told her to take a picture anyway. You never know where you might get ideas.
I asked her if it was pretty cold compared to Fiji and she said the weather was nice enough yesterday that she did not wear a jacket and she was comfortable.
She did not have to use her phone card to call home so still not sure if it will work.
